As an exploratory platform, the X-Library allows users to use these templates directly or to customise and extend them according to their own needs. The X-Library can be purchased as an additional feature for your imc Express.

  • Background images in the content editor: it is now clearly visible in heading elements whether and which background images are stored for the corresponding chapter. This has also significantly simplified the editing of background images.
  • Language selection when creating new content: The initial language for the content can be defined when creating new, empty content.
  • Overview and end screen in the published content: In the published content, the learning progress is now clearly visible via the table of contents.
• Improved layout options

• Improvement of the "Content Element Video"

  The content element "Video" has undergone a major update. If you use videos with subtitles in your project, you will now benefit from the synchronized display of the video and its subtitles. While the video is playing, the subtitle area always highlights the currently spoken text. Conversely, you can click in the subtitle area to jump directly to the corresponding part of the video. This makes editing video subtitles really easy!

Version 1.3 will provide you with new content elements. In addition, you can describe their content even better for use in a learning platform.

  Use the "Citation" content element in your projects to cite people or sources.

• New content element "Note"

  imc Express provides a new "Note" content element that you can use to better describe content to authors, annotate, or create localized information in a collaborative environment in imc Express. "Notes" are not displayed in published content and are intended to facilitate authoring only.

• Create project title and description

  Provide your content with a meaningful title and a description of the content. This information can be automatically localised and subsequently used to display cover sheets or as meta-information when used in learning platforms.
